Certified Orthodontic Assistant
Melissa grew up in the Okanagan and completed her education as a Certified Dental Assistant in 2010 at the Okanagan College. She continued her dental education by completing her orthodontic module at UBC in 2014 and further expanded her orthodontic knowledge at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies including Physiological Orthodontics and Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy. After 9 years working in general dentistry, Melissa found her passion in Orthodontics and joined our team. Melissa is outgoing, friendly, and strives to provide a pleasant experience for all her patients. In her spare time, Melissa enjoys visiting with family and friends, occasionally binging on the odd TV show, practicing yoga, traveling, hiking, and camping in the great outdoors!
